1.2 The Golden Girls - LF writes: "First off, all that know me should have been able to guess this as my first pick. HELLO! It had AMAZING adult humor. The first Sex and the City, if you will. These old sexy broads gave hope to all of us young-ins that we could still get busy when we reach sixty. They also hit several major issues that are still battles in current day politics, schools, hospitals, etc (i.e. the episode where a neighbor teen gets pregnant, the episode where Rose may have gotten AIDS through a transfusion, suicide, the list goes on and on). In addition, the actors themselves were huge animal rights activists. Kick ass. AND there were THREE shows that spunoff of Golden Girls: Empty Nest, Golden Palace and Nurses."
2.7 The Office - Yes, it may be a bit cliche, but I adore it. The theme song alone can make me feel better. The dry, casual and sometimes mean humor is right up my alley. It takes someone with SOME intelligence to enjoy this comedy.
3.2 My Life on the D List - Yes, it's a reality show, but it's DAMN funny and is centered around a comedian's life. I became an addict to her show after I saw the first episode. Some hate her, some love her, and I just laugh. She can be incredibly misanthropic, and I adore that. Good times talking crap about morons. Yet, she is very smart and quick witted, but humble. Good times.
4.7 Flight of the Conchords - Oh, the beauty of dry humor and a New Zealand accent. Anyone catch the David Bowie episode?? Brilliant.
5.2 Curb Your Enthusiasm - Another great Larry David creation, complete with an array of awkward moments.
